Comprehensive Overview of Pneumatic Tank Semi Trailer: Structure, Features, and Performance

The pneumatic tank semi trailer utilizes its engine power to drive the onboard air compressor via a power take-off (PTO). Compressed air is sent through pipelines into the air chamber at the bottom of the sealed tank, causing the cement on the fluidized bed to become suspended and form a fluidized state. When the pressure inside the tank reaches the rated value, the discharge butterfly valve is opened, allowing the fluidized cement to flow through the pipeline for delivery. This vehicle is specially designed for the bulk transport of powdery materials (such as bulk cement), and is generally suitable for regions where tolls are charged strictly based on weight, by local regulations. The tank volume typically ranges from 35 to 45 cubic meters.

The tank’s internal fluidized bed is scientifically designed and reasonably arranged, effectively shortening unloading time to 1.4 tons per minute. This improves volume utilization and reduces residual ash rate to just 0.2%. The tank body of the pneumatic tank semi trailer adopts a double-cone internal inclined lying structure, with dual-pipe air intake and twin-tube loading, ensuring discharge speed and residue rate meet industry standards.

Manufactured using advanced domestic technology, the design is novel, strong, and durable. The airbag-type design ensures large load capacity, fast unloading, and minimal residue. The integrated tank body offers high structural strength, good rigidity, strong pressure resistance, and excellent performance.

Features:

1. Tank Body:
The tank is a fully welded, all-metal structure. It is formed by rolling and butt-welding ordinary carbon structural steel plates, and the end caps are stamped and welded to form a sealed container for loading materials.

2. Chassis and Kingpin:
The chassis is a space-frame welded structure made of low-alloy steel. It consists of 2 T-shaped longitudinal beams and crossbeams that bear the load. At the front bottom of the chassis is a No. 90 removable kingpin and kingpin plate for coupling with the tractor. This design allows easy replacement. The front crossbeam is equipped with air brake couplings and electrical connectors. The front, rear, and sides of the chassis are fitted with lighting and signaling devices.

3. Suspension System:
The rear lower part of the longitudinal beam is welded to the suspension support, while the front lower part has a support seat. The suspension system adopts a 3-axle leaf spring suspension, which supports the load and absorbs road vibrations. The leaf spring suspension system is secured to the axle body with U-bolts.

The parking brake is controlled by an energy-storing spring brake system, and the wheel brake also serves as the parking brake, used when parking or on a slope.

4. Axles and Wheels:
Beneath the suspension system are 3 axles of identical construction. Each axle is a square tube type, with platforms for mounting the leaf spring suspension and brackets for the brake air chambers. The axle ends are used for installing wheels, hubs, and brakes.

5. Landing Gear:
To ensure the semi-trailer can be securely parked after disconnecting from the tractor, the front end of the frame is fitted with dual landing gears, which can be operated in either linked or independent mode. The landing gear includes a screw drive mechanism, a bevel gear transmission, a two-speed reduction gearbox, a drive rod, and an operating handle. Pushing the handle in allows fast lifting/lowering; pulling it out allows slow lifting/lowering. Once the base contacts the ground, only the low-speed mode can be used.

6. Brake System:
The semi-trailer uses a dual-line air brake system and is equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).

7. Electrical System:
The semi-trailer is equipped with an internationally compatible electrical system that matches the tractor. There is a power connector socket on the front crossbeam of the chassis. The rear of the chassis features brake lights, turn signals, parking lights, reverse lights, license plate lights, fog lights, and triangular reflectors. The front and sides are equipped with position lights, width indicator lights, side marker lights, and an ABS indicator light at the front right. All lamps operate on DC 24V.
