The large-capacity LPG storage tank, designed and engineered for safe and efficient liquefied petroleum gas handling, has arrived at a key industrial site in Namibia where it will be installed as part of a national bulk gas storage project. The project aims to strengthen domestic LPG reserves, improve distribution stability, and support growing demand for cleaner household and industrial fuel alternatives across the region.
According to project coordinators, the delivered unit features high-strength pressure vessel construction, advanced anti-corrosion coating, and multi-layer safety systems to ensure reliable long-term operation under harsh environmental conditions. The equipment has undergone rigorous factory testing before shipment, ensuring compliance with international standards for gas storage and transportation systems.
The arrival of the storage tank is expected to significantly enhance Namibia’s energy logistics capability by reducing supply chain bottlenecks and enabling more efficient regional distribution. It also supports the country’s broader strategy of transitioning toward cleaner-burning fuels to reduce reliance on traditional biomass and diesel-based energy sources.
