The Dongfeng small tri-axle 22 CBM fuel tanker truck‘s chassis adopts Dongfeng Motor Company’s new-generation small tri-axle oil tanker chassis. It comes with original front wheel disc brakes, a factory-installed ABS, and an engine ECU speed limiter. It is equipped with an 8-speed gearbox, and the engine options include a 210 hp Cummins or a 220 hp Yuchai. The full chassis model is EQ1253GFJ.

Behind the cab is an air inlet/outlet device. Air passes through an air filter to deliver clean air to the engine, ensuring smooth operation. The truck uses a tiltable cab with a lifting system installed behind it for easier tilting.

The fuel tanker truck features power steering, which absorbs road impact on the front wheels, making steering agile and effortless.

It is equipped with an oversized fuel tank, providing abundant energy for operation. The fuel tank is mounted on one side of the frame, protected by an external guard rail for stability and safety.

Next to the fuel tank is the original urea tank, fixed and protected by black-painted stainless steel guards. The emissions comply with EURO IV standards.

The chassis is fitted with a Yuchai Huayuan diesel filter, meeting industry standards for EURO IV engine filters.

The 24-volt battery (also called an accumulator), air reservoir, and oil filter are all installed within the guard rail on one side of the frame, supplying ample electrical power, air-brake pressure, and clean engine oil.

The vehicle uses 10.00R20 steel radial tires, offering good speed performance for highway driving, effective cushioning, excellent traction and anti-skid capability on wet roads, long service life, and explosion resistance to enhance driving safety.

Beside the large fuel tank is the bottom-loading system’s operation box. The truck is a single-compartment unit with a pump, equipped with 2 bottom valves and 2 Euro-standard tank openings with single breather valves. The operation box features a Euro-style handle lock, with LED marker lights on both sides.

On the rear side of the truck is a toolbox for storing onboard tools, providing convenient access. Its black enamel finish gives it a classic and attractive look.

The truck’s leaf springs are double-thickened, effectively absorbing shocks and vibrations, resulting in more stable and safer driving.

A spare tire is mounted under the rear end of the frame, making efficient use of space and ensuring preparedness in case of unexpected tire failure during long-distance transport.

On both sides of the rear frame, essential fire extinguishers are installed — two 4 kg units — for easy and safe access.

At the tail of the Dongfeng small tri-axle 22 CBM fuel tanker truck, an antistatic strap is installed to discharge static electricity from the vehicle to the ground, preventing fire hazards and enhancing driving safety.
