About Asphalt Tank Trailer

An Asphalt Tank Trailer is a specialized semi-trailer engineered for the safe and temperature-controlled transport of liquid asphalt, bitumen, and other high-viscosity petroleum materials. Built with heavy-duty carbon-steel or stainless-steel tanks, it features a multilayer heat-preservation structure using rock wool, fiberglass, or polyurethane insulation to ensure long-lasting thermal retention and prevent heat loss during long-distance hauling.
Each tank is equipped with an efficient heating system—commonly a diesel burner, thermal oil boiler, or coal-fired heating unit—to keep asphalt at the required temperature. Internal heat-conducting oil pipelines and precise temperature-control devices maintain stable heating and prevent material solidification. Optional aluminum jackets enhance durability and overall heat efficiency.
The trailer offers versatile loading and unloading configurations, including rear outlet valves, top-loading hatches, and high-flow asphalt pumping systems. Some models include agitation or recirculation functions to maintain material consistency. Safety is enhanced by pressure-relief valves, anti-overflow systems, emergency shut-off devices, and high-temperature-resistant sealing parts.
Constructed on a reinforced chassis with robust axles, dependable suspension, and heat-resistant braking components, the Asphalt Tank Trailer provides excellent stability and reliability even under challenging operating conditions. Available in capacities from 20,000 to 60,000 liters, it accommodates diverse project requirements.
Designed for contractors, asphalt suppliers, and municipal road authorities, the Asphalt Tank Trailer ensures efficient, safe, and high-performance hot asphalt transport for road construction and infrastructure development.
