CSCTRUCK China Tank Truck has completed the production and export of a new LNG transport trailer destined for the Republic of Benin, marking another significant milestone in the company’s growing presence in Africa’s clean energy transportation sector. The advanced cryogenic trailer has officially departed from China and is now en route to West Africa, where it will support regional LNG distribution and industrial energy supply operations.

The delivered LNG transport trailer is engineered specifically for the safe transportation of liquefied natural gas under extreme low-temperature conditions. According to CSCTRUCK China Tank Truck’s published specifications, its cryogenic LNG trailer is designed to operate at temperatures as low as -162°C and offers a tank volume of up to 53,000 liters, making it suitable for long-distance, high-capacity LNG logistics operations. The unit features a stainless-steel inner vessel, vacuum-insulated double-wall construction, and multiple safety control systems to ensure cargo stability during transport.

This export project was customized to meet the operational requirements of Benin’s emerging LNG infrastructure, where demand for cleaner energy solutions continues to grow across industrial, commercial, and power generation sectors. The trailer will be deployed in LNG distribution routes connecting storage terminals, industrial users, and regional gas supply points, helping improve fuel accessibility while reducing dependence on conventional petroleum products.

The successful shipment reflects CSCTRUCK China Tank Truck’s strong manufacturing capabilities in cryogenic transportation equipment and its commitment to supporting sustainable energy development in international markets. With its robust chassis design, advanced insulation technology, and high-performance pressure management system, the trailer is expected to deliver reliable performance under the challenging road and climate conditions of West Africa. General LNG transport systems commonly use vacuum-insulated cryogenic tanks to minimize boil-off losses and maintain product integrity during long-haul delivery.

This latest delivery further strengthens trade cooperation between China and Benin while contributing to the expansion of clean natural gas distribution infrastructure across the African continent.
