▎Exterior
This FAW J6 8×4 fuel tanker lorry is equipped with the FAW J6P full-width high-roof short sleeper cab. The triangular warning sign on top of the cab indicates that this is a hazardous materials transport vehicle.
▎Side View
From the side, this customized fuel tanker truck doesn’t differ much from a standard 8×4 cargo truck. It features aluminum alloy wheels throughout and comes standard with 12 Cheng Shin CR199 series 12R22.5 tires. The muffler is reasonably positioned between the 2 front steering axles.
The long wheelbase at the rear allows space for the battery and air tanks, which are placed on the left side of the chassis between the 2nd and 3rd axles. Behind the air tank is the air dryer, followed by the air-driven urea tank for the after-treatment system.
The air filter is also positioned between the 1st and 2nd axles. Since the left side of the chassis is reserved for the battery and air tanks, the 400L aluminum alloy fuel tank is installed on the right side of the chassis.
▎Interior
The interior is slightly modified from a standard cargo truck. As a lower-trim model, it only comes with electric window lifts. The function buttons located to the lower left of the steering wheel differ somewhat from those in the J6P EURO VI tractor I photographed. Since this is a rigid truck, there is no rear work light for the cab; its switch has been replaced with a PTO (Power Take-Off) control switch.
The steering wheel is a basic 4-spoke design from the Zhihui (Quality & Value) trim and does not have any multimedia control buttons.
On the right side of the steering wheel, compared with the 440LNG model photographed earlier, the button layout has not changed, but a master power switch and an inter-axle differential lock have been added. To prevent accidental activation, the master switch is protected with a cover.
Because this is a fuel tanker and needs to avoid fire hazards, the exhaust pipe is mounted at the very front of the vehicle and is equipped with a flame arrester to minimize the risk of fire.

The rear axle is a FAW 435 with a gear ratio of 5.143. According to the speed calculator, when the vehicle is in top gear and the engine runs at 1,500 rpm, the speed reaches 77 km/h.
