▎Comprehensive Safety Design Ensures Road Transport Security
The stainless steel tankers semi-trailer is primarily used to carry hazardous materials such as ethanol, toluene, and C9 aromatic hydrocarbons. This stainless steel tankers semi-trailer adopts manufacturing technology from the European company LAG and focuses heavily on both lightweight construction and safety.
The tank has a capacity of 42 cubic meters, a total weight of 8,500 kg, with the cylindrical body made from 3 mm thick material and the end caps from 4 mm thick material. The entire tank is welded using JinKong welding wire and employs the P+T welding process, which enhances the strength of the base material.
The P+T welding technique supports welding thin plates from 2.5 to 3 mm. This process optimizes post-pulse welding current, reduces spatter, allows single-sided welding with double-sided formation, and ensures low heat input and minimal deformation, making it a high-quality welding method.
All tank valves and fittings use well-known brand components, ensuring excellent sealing performance with no leakage or bubbling. This not only reduces the evaporation of transported materials during loading and unloading but also enhances safety and environmental protection.
Anti-slip aluminum alloy panels are installed on both the rear and top of the tank where workers step, ensuring safety even in adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow, and effectively preventing accidents caused by slipping. Reflective warning strips are also added to the top of the vehicle to reduce the risk of missteps or tripping at night.
The fire extinguisher on the side of the stainless steel tankers semi-trailer is mounted using an outward-tilting design, allowing for quick access in emergencies. Although not highly conspicuous, this design could potentially change the outcome of an incident by saving even just 0.1 seconds in a critical moment.
The vehicle’s center of gravity has also been optimized. Compared to previous versions, the center of gravity is lowered by 80 mm, improving the vehicle’s overall stability during operation.
The stainless steel tankers semi-trailer is equipped with 12R22.5 Linglong vacuum tires. These vacuum tires are known for their slow air leakage, good heat dissipation, lightweight, and wear resistance. These features not only extend the tire’s service life but also reduce fuel consumption during transport, making the vehicle more suitable for long-distance, high-speed travel.
