2: Skip Loader Superstructuer Specification

2.1 General Description

a. Skip Loader (Dump Placer)Garbage Truck, mounted with 4x2 or 6x4 truck chassis is designed for for solid waste collection for hydraulic power loading of solid waste (from garbage containers), collection, transportation and mechanical unloading of the waste at the disposal site. Reliable hydraulic system ,mechnical system and electric systems are fitted for it. For haulage of solid waste/refuse of average density of 900kg/m3 in and around sub-urban centres of Accra where ambient temperatures are about 40 oC.


b. The garbage / refuse is directly collected into the containers which are placed at the various collection points in the busiest and most thickly populated areas of the city. The system with the loaded containers is transported to the dumping site and the same is tipped hydraulically to discharge its load.The available suitable container capacities are :8.0 cu. mtrs., 7.5 cu. mtrs, 6.0cu.mtrs, 5.5cu.mtrs and 4.5cu.Mtrs.

2.2 Principal Features

For corrosion resistance container be coated with 2 coats of oxide primer(or similar)on the inner and outer sides of the container,2 coats of synthetic enamel orange painting (or similar) on the outside and 2 coats of black expoxy paint(or similar)on the inner side.Paint resistant to abrasion and aggressive environments.

ii. Final colour finish as request by buyer..

In this case, all transportation and accommodation costs ( visas – plane tickets – airline fees – motorway transportation –hotel room – meals etc.) on route of “Hubei China – Buyer’s Field – Hubei China” is undertaken by the buyer. Normally, total training time doesn’t get longer than 2 days with all necessary conditions are met.
